The Albert Specialty Company of Chicago was patenting and manufacturing tripods and film equipment in the late 1930s to early 1940s. This tripod looks to have been originally focused on keeping weight to a minimum, as the wood is sturdy yet light in hand.

The feature of this lamp has to be the vintage dual-color pan-tilt smooth BakeLite handle. Likely not originally meant to be showy, the coloration is subtle yet still clearly visible, and is guaranteed to be a welcome addition to your home!

  • Stands 43 inches tall (collapsed), 66 inches tall fully extended. Measurements include 10 inch lamp harp
  • Original owner repaired one leg, making it 1 inch shorter than the others if all legs are fully extended or collapsed. Therefore the other two legs can compensate with very minor adjustment. There is no permanent damage to the tripod, it functions as original, and 1 inch difference was factored into above measurements.
  • Standard harp and finial shade mount
  • Two-prong power, 60watt recommended max bulb mount
  • This is an antique, so please expect it to act and look as such
